Akon is allegedly being charmed by Polish singer Ramona Rey while working on the video for his single "Oh Africa". A source revealed, "When they first met, Akon said to Ramona that she's beautiful and he will never forget Ramona's beautiful blue eyes." While as for the next Valentine's day, the source told, "Akon was inviting Ramona to LA on Valentines day!"
In related news, the R&B star will host a two-hour show every Saturday night on Global Radio's London station 95.8 Capital FM, which is set to begin on February 13. Akon said, "Every Saturday night, I'm going to be playing the best tracks and I look forward to my fans getting to know the real me, so make sure you tune in!"
Commenting on Akon's new show, the station's group programme director, Paul Jackson, said in a statement, "We are delighted to welcome one of the world's greatest R&B artists to 95.8 Capital FM." He added, "Akon has worked with legendary performers such as Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston and Eminem and his brand-new show on Capital will be awesome."
